How to Use Led Edit 2013 to Create LED Effects

The main interface consists of four parts: the menu bar, the toolbar, the preview window, and the effect list. The menu bar contains options such as File, Edit, View, Tools, Help, etc. The toolbar contains buttons for creating new projects, opening existing projects, saving projects, setting parameters, playing effects, etc. The preview window shows the simulation of your LED effects on your LED layout. The effect list shows the effects that you have created or imported for your project.
To create a new project, you need to click on the New button on the toolbar or select File > New from the menu bar. A dialog box will pop up asking you to enter some basic information about your project, such as project name, controller type, LED chip type, pixel number, pixel shape, etc. You can also choose a default background color for your preview window. After entering the information, click OK to create your project.
Next, you need to map your LED layout according to your actual LED arrangement. You can do this by clicking on the Mapping button on the toolbar or selecting Tools > Mapping from the menu bar. A dialog box will appear with four tabs: LineType, MatrixType, IrregularType, and CADType. You can choose one of these tabs depending on your LED layout type.
For example, if you have a linear LED strip with 100 pixels, you can choose LineType and enter 100 in the Pixel Number field. Then click OK to generate a line mapping in the preview window. You can also adjust the line length and angle by dragging the handles on the line.
